Far from the icy straits of the mere pedagogue, across the arid wastes of the administration flats, there lies the woebegotten vale of the comprehensive teacher, and somewhere within the twisting branches and stirring ferns of this place, half-hidden in a barely secret place, can be found the heart of the human being, persisting through trial and tribulation, calumny and everyday despair. Yet - even now - not without the nigh incongruous hope, the requisite compassion.
